 Climb aboard as we present and preserve the history of the GB&W its affiliated, and subsidiary railroads.

 

MISSION

It is the mission of the Green Bay & Western Historical Society Inc. to educate the public on the importance of the Green Bay & Western Railroad, its affiliated and subsidiary roads through ongoing education outreach programs in the local community as well as the preservation of documents, images, physical equipment, and infrastructure of the railroad.

FA-1 GBW 507 paired with another FA-1.

FA-1's were the mainstay of the GBW Locomotive fleet until the newer C-424 exceeded their ranks in the roster as the reliable road power for the next 40 years.
