A: NO, the GBWHS is a separate Non Profit Wisconsin corporation with no ties to the SLHTS or any other historical society.

A: Current Membership dues are $25 and includes four issues of the Green Bay Lines newsletter.

A:It does NOT carry over, please contact the SLHTS by visiting their website www.sooline.org for any issues you may have regarding the now defunct GBWPG

A: Please contact the Webmaster: webmaster@gbwhs.org (Note, we reserve the right to deny any requests)

Q: I would like to contribute items to the Green Bay & Western Historical Society Inc. will my contributions be tax deductible?
A: YES!! We would be happy to have whatever you wish to be preserved, the value of any donation over $40 is tax deductible. If you still wish to contribute items that value below $40 we would welcome those as well.

Contact our President to find out how your donations will fit in. president@gbwhs.org

Q: Does the GBWHS have a building that one can visit to view the archives/do research.
A: Unfortunatley at this time the GBWHS does not have a permanent home, our mailing address is that of our President and is not a public location, nor is it open for regular business hours, if you would like to view the GBWHS archives please contact President Hainstock at president@gbwhs.org

Q: How does one contribute articles to the newsletter?
A: All submissions are welcomed and can be sent to our editor at editor@gbwhs.org please title all submissions in the subject line as "Green Bay Lines Newsletter" all submissions that do not include this heading will be deleted without opening due to the high volume of spam coming through the system

Q: Can we special order GBW model railroad items through you that are scheduled for future release (ex Atlas KGBW RS11 309) ?
A: The only products we have for sale will be located in the Merchandise or Latest Arrivals pages, if you would like to order model railroad equipment I suggest you contact your local hobby store, if there are none in your area visit the Walther's website or a great Green Bay hobby shop through which you can order many items and have custom painting done is Engine House Services LLC, located along the Green Bay & Western Mainline, you are sure to have a good time visiting, especially if the local CN job L588-81 is working the industries out in the Packerland industrial park.

Q: Who do you support for President of the United States?
A: Unfortunatley as a 501(c) 3 Non Profit organization, part of our charter requires the GBWHS to not support any political candidate or make contributions to any political campaigns, we will continue to uphold this policy and will deny any requests for political advertisements to be placed in either our newsletter or website.

Q: If I contribute a photo to the website will it be protected from people right clicking and saving a copy of the image.

A: YES! Your image will have a watermark of the GBWHS logo imprinted over the image to prevent copying. Also if you are concerned about pirating please contribute a high resolution scan which we can preserve and then make a duplicate low resolution image from it to place on the website so that the original image is kept intact in the archives.

Q: Do you accept credit cards or Pay-Pal to process payment for subscriptions or merchandise?

A: Unfortunately at this time the GBWHS cannot accept payment via either of the above mentioned methods at this time, the web team and board members are working hard to make it a possibility in the very near future. The only acceptable forms of payment at this time are USPS Money Orders, US Financial Institution Money Orders, and Personal Checks that are drawn from a United States Bank. Do note that all returned checks will result in a NSF fee and the GBWHS will work to collect this fee should the check be returned.
