MISSION

It is the mission of the Green Bay & Western Historical Society Inc. to educate the public on the importance of the Green Bay & Western Railroad, its affiliated and subsidiary roads through ongoing education outreach programs in the local community as well as the preservation of documents, images, physical equipment, and infrastructure of the railroad.

WC 2402 @ North Fond du Lac, Wisconsin

Two SD-24's were purchased by the FRVR from Midland Maryland Ry. Both were repainted by NRE at Silvis, Illinois. Both were originally built for the Burlington. 2402 currently resides in Green Bay, WI at the National Railroad Museum. The unit is completely intact sans traction motors.
